Telling stories through film inspires us, connects us, starts conversations and have the power to create change in the world or change in ourselves. ​

I love working with teams to bring these stories into the world. There has always been something so magical and powerful about moving images. I am so lucky to be doing what I do with the incredible people I meet.

" Emel is a versatile and adaptive Cinematographer, working on projects ranging from corporates and case studies to documentary and narrative. Her love for visual storytelling has seen her catapulted into the Melbourne short film community with curiosity and drive.  Emel continues to grow herself as a Cinematographer, having participated in the Cinematography Lighting Intensive at AFTRS, ACS Shot Class Cinematography Lighting, ACS Shot Class Approach to Narrative & Cinematography and been fortunate to shadow ACS Accredited Cinematographers on set for features and TV series. Her recent accomplishments include short film ‘Dizzy Spells’(2026) a finalist for The Very Short Film Festival 2026 and Audience Choice for Best Film, ‘Hard Feelings’ (2025) being accepted into Bradford International Film Festival 2026, Melbourne Nocturnal Film Festival 2026 and Manchester Lift-Off Film Festival 2026 ."
